Inhabit

INHABIT yoga supports FULL OCCUPATION of YOUR BODY, MIND AND LIFE.

It is a practice of experiencing YOUR personal INNER TRUTH resulting in a natural EXPANSION of your light in the world.

While each class is unique, there are some things you can expect from each session:

-A group tuning-in to begin class 

-A set intention / focus for the class

-Gentle stretching / warm-up

-A calming of your nervous system

-Great music that supports the focus of class

-Movement of the lymphatic system

-A sensation of rejuvenation / increase of vitality

-Shavasana / layout to integrate expanded life force energy

-A group mantra to end class

Inhabit was created out of a personal experience teaching Kundalini Yoga while practicing Nia. I sensed deep inherent similarities that called to me and began to integrate what I was learning in Nia into my yoga facilitation, while tweaking the form with a Kundalini-Yoga-trained-Black-Belt-Nia-friend-teacher, Tama Capellini. The result has been ongoing intoxication for myself and, most importantly, for interested students. 

The Inhabit experience is its own animal loosely based on the science and technique of Kundalini Yoga and Nia. It is different from both these practices in several ways with the FUNDAMENTAL differences being:

-Different from Kundalini Yoga in that it consistently provides space for freedom from form.

-Different from Nia in that there are no choreographed dance moves.
